Biography

Tonya started singing as a young child and quickly became known as “The Voice” by all who knew and recognized her unique, memorable sound. Tonya landed a Berklee School of Music scholarship after performing at a singer-songwriter program in Los Angeles. She was also a “highly praised” student for the Dr. Steve Zegree Jazz Program at the Jacobs School of Music – one of the top music schools in the country.

Featured as a solo artist on BET, GMC, FOX Networks – and was recognized by the Associated Press and The Washington Post.  She is an artist showcased by MTV and a Stellar Award Nominee for Contemporary Female Vocalist of the year!  Tonya’s voice is an experience no one should miss!

While Tonya’s debut album was originally recorded as Urban Inspirational, Tonya Ware – “The Voice” crossed over to Adult Contemporary and Soul radio. People all over the world are taking notice of her talent. Tonya’s passionate single release, “Put My Hand In Yours,” written by the legendary Marvin Winans, stands up to today’s “hottest” music. The production and sound quality are second-to-none. Tonya’s music video for “Put My Hand In Yours” has been featured on BET, Music Choice, Blastro, GMC, FOX, and more! Tonya is a two time “Jackie” Award winner for National Female Soloist of the Year and was recognized as a Billboard New Song Contest Honoree. She is the creator of “Saturday Success Church” and is changing countless lives!
